Growing Dome 2

What luck.  Another clear and sunny day in Colorado.  We're at 7500 feet, and the conditions are always changing.  Nick and Tom get help from Todd as work progresses.  Even with my bad  back there are things to do to help keep the work moving forward.  I peeled the protective film off of the glazing and passed the panels up to be screwed on.  The glass went on quickly.

Now it's time to tape to seal in the dome.  With the outside finished for the most part, time to get inside and work.  It was a good 30 degrees warmer inside the dome in the afternoon.

You can see the boys working with no shirts on inside.   Up goes the reflective backing on the north side of the dome.  Soon, the scaffolding will be headed back to Home  Depot.      Nick worked on the outer planting bed.  He really did a nice custom job out of 2 x 6 Doug Fir.  I used that construction technique to do the other 2 main  planting beds myself.   There is still more room to grow as the 33 is really a big dome.

Outside fan coverings and trim is next.  The self opening roof vent is working.   Next is the water tank and underground planting bed pipes.
